You are invited to be a part of one of the most eagerly awaited Tango gala  events of the year, the 4th Annual Carlos Gardel Awards as we join worldwide celebration of the birth of the patron saint of Tango.

Prepare to be seduced by performances of sixteen of the most admired and talented tangueros in Los Angeles. You will be transported to another era, another place (Buenos Aires perhaps?) by the hypnotic sounds of a large tango orchestra (including musicians from the famed Forever Tango show and the legendary Osvaldo Pugliese Orchestra). Get ready to bask in the glamorous setting of a chic ballroom, and let yourself be swept away in the mesmerizing swirl and electric atmosphere of a stylish Gran Milonga.

The evening will be capped by the awards ceremony, a recognition for the Tango organizers and teachers of So. California, and a tribute to two great tangueros in Los Angeles' past.

Hi Cal-Tech Tangueros!!! It's Danny talking, and I am part of a dance troop at USC called "Break on 2: Latin Fusion." We've been practicing all semester for our performance on SUNDAY, DECEMBER 3RD!!! (at 5:00 PM). So everyone should come see me and my troop perform. Here is what you'll see:

On Saturday, November 11, Moti invites you to join him in celebrating both his birthday and the closing of his sold out show, Dialogos. To celebrate, Moti will be having a dual milonga, with two rooms of music simultaneously underway. One room will feature traditional tango and
the other will showcase more alternative music (including salsa, swing, hip hop, and more).

There will also be a Short martial arts performance by Moti and Sifu Sam Norman as well as a screening of a variety of numbers from Dialogos. Please bring food or drink to this festive birthday pot luck.
