The movies on this page come in three versions. There's a high quality version that should run on most computers, but those are big files. The medium quality and low quality versions are smaller; the medium quality version requires a relatively fast computer to run; the low quality version is the same size as the medium quality version, but it should run even on very slow computers. If you have the bandwidth, download the high quality version. Otherwise use the medium quality version. If the video is jerky or slow, then try the low quality version. You can click on the links to start watching as soon as enough
has downloaded, or you can to download the entire movie to you hard
drive first via the contextual
menu. We recommend If you want to watch all or most of the events, you can either download the DVD image or download the full movie of whatever quality you like. The DVD image can be burned or played directly from your hard drive (if and only if you're running Mac OS X): just double click and then launch your computer's DVD player application. Otherwise (*nix or Windows), it is necessary to first download the ISO image to your hard drive first and then burn to DVD. Another option is to purchase a DVD video of the competition. They are only $3/copy. Shipping will be $1 for one disk (further calculations will be necessary for an order of greater than one disk). If you have a Mac or you have installed iTunes on your Windows PC (because you use the Music Store or have an iPod) then you already have QuickTime. Users of other operating systems can view the movies with VLC or MPlayer, but the aspect ratio will not be correct due to limitations of those players. |
